OAK finishs work on College of Business

FORT MYERS - Owen-Ames-Kimball Company has completed construction of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business at the Fort Myers campus. Distinguished as FGCU’s signature building, the 70,000sf, four-story building baby-sits conspicuously at the university’s front entrance.

Visitors to the newfangled building are greeted by a 20-foot unsullied steel sculpture that rises from a step waterfall pool. Beyond is a spectacular 70-foot glass curtain wall entrance. The U-molded building wraps around a cardinal brick-completed saved courtyard area, which opens to the independent campus.
